BackgroudWith the gradual improvement of people's living standards,the diet structure based on high-calorie diet and the sedentary work lifestyle are becoming more and more common,and the prevalence of diabetes in the population continues to rise.The prevalence of diabetes in the population continues to rise.Under this environment,the quality of life and mental health of patients with diabetes have received great attention.ObjectiveThe aim of this study was to analyze the influencing factors of the mental health status and quality of life of 1461 women with diabetes in Shandong Province.To explore the correlation between mental health status and quality of life of female diabetic patients in Shandong Province.Through the understanding of the status quo of female diabetes in Shandong Province,suggestions were made to improve the living status of female diabetic patients in Shandong Province,and provide evidence for the formulation of relevant policies.MethodsThis study used a multi-stage stratified random sampling method to extract survey samples,and selected 1461 women with diabetes in Shandong Province as subjects.The questionnaire survey was used to obtain the general demographic data,mental health status,quality of life of female diabetic patients.Statistical analysis was performed using the software Statal4.0.Descriptive statistical analysis was used for general demographic characteristics.Percentages and frequencies were used to describe categorical variables,and continuous variables are described by means of mean and standard deviation.Univariate analysis of variables was using the t test,chi-square test,and One Way ANOVA analysis.Multivariate analysis of mental health status was using Logistic regression,and the tobit regression was used to analyze the multiple influencing factors of quality of life.Partial correlation analysis was used to verify the relationship between mental health and quality of life.The confidence interval for CI is 95%and the significance level is 5%.ResultsThere were significant differences in the quality of life of female patients with different self-rated health grades(P=0.000)and different mental health status(P =0.000).The quality of life of urban female patients was lower than that of rural women(P=0.045).The quality of life of female patients in poor households was lower than that of non-poor households(P=0.007).The quality of life of female sports patients was higher than that of non-exercise females(P=0.000).The quality of life of women with diabetes decreased with age(P=0.000),and their quality of life decreased as the duration of diabetes increased(P=0.019).In addition,the quality of life of women with diabetes at the junior high school level was higher than that of women at the primary and lower levels(P=0.032).The factors affecting the mental health status of female diabetic patients include health utility index(QOL),residential area,occupation,family medical and pharmaceutical expenses,suicidal ideation,self-reported health status,medication compliance and complications(P<0.05).The quality of life and mental health of women with diabetes are mutually influential.ConclusionsThe mental health status of female diabetic patients in rural areas,those engaged in other occupations,those with low family medical and pharmaceutical costs,those without suicidal ideation,those with high self-rated health,those who have good medication compliance,and those without complications are better than women without these characteristics.Female diabetic.The quality of life of female diabetic patients in rural areas,seniors,poor households,athletes,mental health,self-rated health and elderly patients is higher than that of female diabetics without these characteristics.The management and treatment of diabetic patients can not only focus on the physical function of patients,but also improve their physiological status.At the same time,they also need to pay attention to and interfere with the factors affecting psychological behavior,in order to strengthen the mental health of female diabetic patients and maintain a happy mood.Improve the quality of life and improve the treatment and control of diabetic patients.
