Objective:CSR is a type of the highest incidence rates of cervicalspondylosis, accounted for60%, With the increasing number ofmodern engaged Collars constant increase in the incidence ofcervical disease, seriously affecting people’s daily work and life. The subject by observing acupuncture with the root pain agentclinical efficacy for the treatment of CSR. Detection, analysisof changes in the plasma of patients before and after treatmentprostaglandin (PGE2) levels. Explore the acupuncture treatmentefficacy and mechanism by analgesic effect of CSR with root painMixture. in order to guide clinical better. Method60patients were selected from September2011-2012in MarchWuhan Integrative Medicine hospital outpatient and inpatientadmitted CSR, To check randomly tables visiting sequence, they Wererandomly divided into a treatment group and the control group,30cases in each group. Treatment group were treated with acupunctureand root pain Mixture oral treatment, control group by simpleacupuncture group, the treatment for two weeks,6days of treatmentto take a day off. Content of plasma levels of PGE2were measuredbefore and after treatment, After the end of treatment, clinicalefficacy and treatment after plasma PGE2levels.Result1. Comprehensive efficacy comparison, Treatment group,29caseswere cured, The total effective rate was96.67%; Control group,25cases were cured, The total effective rate was83.30%.integratedeffect of the two groups, The difference was statisticallysignificant (P <0.05).2. Comparison of pain scores and value difference, comparisonbetween two groups before treatment, each index differences werenot statistically different (P>0.05). they were comparable. PRIscore, two groups before and after treatment, with significantdifference (P<0.05); PRI score difference, The treatment groupcompared with control group significant differences (P <0.05); VAS score, two groups before and after treatment, with significantdifference (P<0.05); VAS difference, The treatment group comparedwith control group significant differences (P <0.05); PPI score, two groups before and after treatment, with significant difference(P<0.05); PPI difference, The treatment group compared withcontrol group significant differences (P <0.05); the patient painrelief than those in the control group, the difference wasstatistically significant (P<0.05).3.PGE2in plasma: comparison before and after treatments, patientswith PGE2content after statistical processing, before treatmentin two groups showed no significant difference (P>0.05), withcomparable. Before and after treatment in two groups withsignificant difference (P<0.05). After treatment in the treatmentgroup the difference with the control group there was a significantdifference between the two groups (P<0.05). The method can reducethe treatment of CSR patients PGE2content. Compared with thecontrol group, treatment group decreased obviously better.Conclusion1.Acupuncture combined with the root pain Mixture oral treatmentof nerve root type cervical spondylosis can significantly alleviatethe patient’s pain, and to improve the patient’s symptoms. It’sa safe and effective economic treatment. 2.Two groups of patients after treatment, plasma PGE2levels withits own treatment prior to contrast a significant difference (P<0.05), and the treatment group was higher than that of the controlgroup (P>0.05), indicating that acupuncture combined with rootpain Mixture orally can reduce nerve root type cervical spondylosiscontent of inflammatory cytokines in the blood, which may be roleis one of the important ways.
