Study On The Characteristics Of Normal High Blood Pressure In Elderly Examination People Of Chengdu District

Objecctive:To investigate the present situation of normal high blood pressure in elderly examination people of Chengdu urban district. To analyse the risk factors of normal high blood pressure. The study is aimed to provide reliable evidence for preventing normal high blood pressure.Methods:Cross-sectional survey method was applied to study Chengdu urban elderly examination people distribution characteristics and epidemiological characteristics of normal blood pressure. This study extracted from2010-2011, aged over65in our hospital physical examination center. Standard into blood pressure was normal blood pressure to first stage hypertension, exclusion criteria were taking antihypertension drugs, having a history of rheumatic heart disease or congenital heart disease. All of the data were divided into3groups:the normal blood pressure, normal blood pressure and first stage hypertension. Then the high normal blood pressure were divided into3subgroups:isolated systolic normal blood pressure, isolated diastolic normal blood pressure and both systolic and diastolic normal high blood pressure. Every ten years as a stage, all the data was divided into3stages. Studys surveyed4355people (3193males,1162females). Median, rank sum test,chi-square test and multiple factor condition Logistic regression analysis were applied to analyse the risk factors of elderly normal blood pressure. The diagnosis criteria of blood pressure was defined according to Chinese Guidelines for Prevention and Treatment of Hypertension(revised edition2010). Results:1、Study was concluded in4355individuals. The average age of hypertension was72.87±5.62years old, and the average age of1739normal high blood pressure cases was72.69±5.62years old, and the average age of747normal blood pressure cases was72.60±5.64years old.2、The crude prevalence of normal high blood pressure was39.93%in the population aged,and the crude prevalence of hypertension was42.92%. Normal high blood pressure people were mainly distributed from65to74, totally1103(63.4%).High normal blood pressure detection rate, men accounted for the total number of males40.30%, females accounted for the total number of female physical examination38.90%.With the age increasing,the prevalence of normal high blood pressure was reduced while the prevalence of hypertension was increased. In the group of normal high blood pressure,1165(67.0%) were isolated systolic normal high blood pressure,62(3.6%) were isolated diastolic normal high blood pressure, and512(29.4%) were both systolic and diastolic normal high blood pressure.3、Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that, fasting blood glucose(FBG), body mass index(BMI), heart rate(HR), total cholesterol(TC), uric acid,(UA) pulse pressure(PP), triglyceride(TG)were normal high blood pressure risk factors. Normal high blood pressure was related to a lot of risk factors such as obesity, dyslipidemia, high fasting blood glucose(FBG) and high heart rate(HR).4、Normal high blood pressure group was65.8%, and control group was58.2%at least with a lipid metabolism abnormality.High normal blood pressure group compared with the ideal blood pressure group OR values significantly. Normal high blood pressure combined with one lipid metabolism abnormality,and the OR was1.274(1.035-1.569). Normal high blood pressure combined with two lipid metabolism abnormalities,and the OR was1.460(1.159-1.893). Normal high blood pressure combined with three and above lipid metabolism abnormalities, and the OR was1.537(1.120-2.111).Conclusion:1、The number of normal high blood pressure male is more than female in elderly people of health examination of Chengdu urban district. Normal high blood pressure people are mainly concentrated in the age between65～74years old, manifested by isolated systolic normal high blood pressure and both systolic and diastolic normal high blood pressure.And elderly normal high blood pressure people were accompanied by a variety of metabolic abnormalities.There are many types of lipid metabolic disorders in normal high blood pressure people. In order to further reduce the incidence of cardiovascular disease and mortality, in the control of blood pressure at the same time also should actively strengthening lipid management.2、Fasting blood glucose(FBG), body mass index(BMI), heart rate(HR), total cholesterol(TC), uric acid,(UA) pulse pressure(PP), triglyceride(TG) were mainly normal high blood pressure risk factors.3、Normal high blood pressure for the elderly people should strengthen management, and control a variety of cardiovascular risk factors.
