Objective To investigate the status of risk factors of coronary heartdisease in rural area of Yunnan Province and provide scientific evidences to theprevention and treatment of CHD. Methods540cases aged50-70years weresampled with stratified and cluster multistage sampling in11rural areas of4countriesof Yunnan.50-59ages244,60-70ages296.using SPSS11.0version of software fordata analysis. Results In this survey,the prevalence of hypertension,overweight andobesity,smoking,drinking,high cholesterol,low HDL and diabetes was42.4%,15.7%,36.7%,33.5%,36.8%,8.6%,0.56%. The rates of hypertension,overweight andobesity,drinking were different,having significant difference(P<0.01).In theHan,Yi,Lisu nationality,its prevalence of overweight and obesity was less than theBai and Naxi nationality,its rate of hypertension and drinking was less than Zangnationality(P<0.05). The prevalence of hypertension,obesity and low HDL increasedwith age(P<0.05). In the rate of overweight and obesity, women(18.7%) was higherthan men(12.5%)(P<0.05).However the prevalence of smoking,drinking,hypertension, men(66.1%、54.9%、47.5%) was higher than women(9.9%、14.1%、37.8%)(P<0.05).28.1%of subjects had no any risk factors,71.9%had at least one riskfactors.Male with2and3level clustering of risk factors was higher thanfemale(P<0.001).Aggregation degree of risk factors of CHD wasdifferent(P<0.05).The highest having3risk factors was44.4%in Naxinationality.There had no significant difference in Han and minoritynationality,between two age groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The prevalence of riskfactors CHD was at the higher levels in rural area of Yunnan, To reduce itsprevalence,full-scale measures of prevention and control is advised.
