Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of acupuncture treatmentin different periods of ischemic stroke and seek the best time foracupuncture intervention. Methods:According to the different acupuncture intervene time, sixtyfour cases of ischemic stroke patients from the acupuncture andmoxibustion department and the encephalopathy department of HubeiProvincial Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital were randomlydivided into two groups, each group of30patients after thetreatment. All two groups received the Xingnao Kaiqiao NeedlingMethod treatment and routine drug therapy.Group1-7d started theacupuncture treatment within seven days after the vital signsstabled, For group8-14d,the patients were treated within thesecond week. Each group were treated with acupuncture for threeweeks, six times per week. Then, combined with the "stroke diagnosisand therapeutic evaluation standard",clinical curative effectbetween the four groups were compared before and after theacupuncture treatment by using the nerve function deficit score(NIHSS)、the Fugl-meyer motor function score(FMA) and the modifiedBarthel index score(BI). Results:1.effective rate evaluation:the differences of the totalefficiency and markedly effective rate comparison had statisticalsignificance (P<0.05) in1-7d group and8-14d group after treatment.2.Comparison of NIHSS before and after treatment: there wasno significant difference (P>0.05) in NIHSS among the two groups. The two groups before and after treatment NIHSS score were compared, both P<0.05, there was statistical significance. After treatment,1-7d group and8-14d group were compared between the two groups,P<0.05, the difference was significant.3.Comparison of Barthel index before and after treatment:comparison of Barthel index score results of the two groups onadmission,P>0.05, comparability.Compare Barthel index scorebefore and after treatment in two groups, all P<0.05, there wasstatistical significance. After treatment,1-7d group and8-14dgroup were compared between the two groups, P<0.05, the differencewas significant.4.Comparison of Fugl-Meyer scores before and after treatment:there was no significant difference (P>0.05) in Fugl-Meyer amongthe two groups. Compare Fugl-Meyer integral before and after thetwo treatment group, all P<0.05, there was statistical significance. After treatment,1-7d group and8-14d group were compared betweenthe two groups,P<0.05, the difference was significant.Conclusion:1.Early intervention of acupuncture treatment of ischemicstroke, can effectively improve the neural function, promote therecovery of limb motor function of patients, reduce disability rate, improve the ability of daily life. 2.In the acute stage, vital signs were stable under acupuncturetreatment, in7days, both in terms of the overall effect ofintervention or in the local function improvement were better thanthe7days later.
