Objective: Clinical characteristics and treatment of CNShemangioblastoma, aiming to improve the clinical understanding of CNShemangioblastomas.Methods: Review of the relevant literature CNS hemangioblastoma,summary and analysis of Bethune of Jilin University First Hospital Departmentof neurosurgery and brain tumor surgery from2005February to2012December were treated62cases of hemangioblastoma of central nervoussystem of patients age, time of onset, family history, clinical symptomsResults: This group of62cases, female24cases, male38cases, male:female=1.58:1; aged15-71years old, average40years old, the averageduration of15.1months,5cases of VHL disease (8.1%),5cases had clearfamily history (8.1%). Among the60cases of total resection,2cases of death.Conclusions: Magnetic resonance imaging is currently the most effectivefor CNS hemangioblastoma diagnostic method; surgical operation is the mosteffective method of treatment, but multiple, familial and substantialhemangioblastoma of central nervous system, especially the tumors located inthe special position (brainstem or spinal cord) or the age of the patients is theworse prognosis.
