Relationship Among Marriage Quality And Personality And Copy Style In Epilepsy Patients

Objective To explore the relationship of marriage quality with individual characteristics and copy style among epilepsy patients and marriage quality of epilepsy patients, to provide reference of patients with epilepsy marital quality for clinicians to take comprehensive interventions to improve the quality of patients with epilepsy family marriage provide objective and theoretical basis.Methods Random extraction in January2011to September2011Zaozhuang city in Shandong province made the second hospital outpatient clinic epilepsy research institute and hospital patients with epilepsy sequence of single number person for the study team, issued120copies questionnaires,97valid questionnaires, spouse of patients with epilepsy as control group1, issued110copies of questionnaires,93valid questionnaires, extraction health people as control group2, issued120copies of questionnaires,91valid questionnaires.The Chinese Marriage Quality Questionnaire, and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire Short Form Scale-Chinese edition (EPQ-RSC), and the Questionnaire of Simple Way to Coping were used to assess study group and the control group1and91cases of the control group2;all of the data processed and analysised by using SPSS13.0statistical package, using t-test,one-way analysis of variance, correlation and stepwise multiple regression to analysis, p<0.05was considered statistically significant.Results The total scores of the marriage quality of study group [(295.78±40.37)分]was lower than ones in the group2[(354.85±28.11)分,P=0.000] and higher than that of the group1[(278.55±42.23)分,P=0.014], The study group marital quality scores of each factor was significant lower than the control group2; spouse of patients with epilepsy marriage quality and the factor scores of each factor was significant lower than the control group2.Each age study group marital quality scores of each factor and total were lower than the control group2(P<0.05),50-59age study group was s lower than the other three age study group (P<0.05); each factor and total scores of the female study group was lower than the control group2(P<0.05);in personality compatibility and conflict resolution and economic arrangements and leisure activities and family relations and total scores male study group was lower than the control group2(P<0.05);between the two sexes study groups, women in couples communication and conflict resolution and family roles lower than men’s (P<0.05); primary educated study group in husband and wife exchange and conflict resolution and economic arrangements and leisure activities and total scores there was lower than control group2(P<0.05), secondary educated study group each factor and total scores were lower than the control group2(P<0.05), college educated study group in compatible in character and couple communication and conflict resolution and economic arrangements and total scores were lower than the control group2(P<0.05); the total score of college educated group was lower than secondary educated group (P<0.05).The total scores of marriage quality of the control groupl was negative correlated with which the sex,and the duration of spouse, and the severity of spouse,and the positive and the passive (the Pearson correclation was respectively:-0.230,-0.385,-0.572,-0.526,-0.226),and was positive correlated with which the attack types (symptoms epilepsy), and the hidness (the Pearson correclation was respectively:0.540,0.452) the difference was all statistically (P<0.05); those seven variables that the epilepsy severity of the disease, and the positive,and the age, and the epilepsy duration, and the passive, and the formal schooling, and the psychoticism could be predict to marriage quality of the control1,Adjusted R square was0.865,After adjustment was0.002.The total scores of marriage quality of the study group was negative correlated with which the age,and the sex, and the marrige age, and the severity, and the duration, and the psychoticism (the Pearson correclation was respectively:-0.204,-0.436,-0.243,-0.691,-0.568,-0.635),and was positive correlated with which the formal schooling, and the attack types (symptoms epilepsy), and the introversion or extroversion,and the hidness,and the positive (the Pearson correclation was respectively:0.317,0.750,0.267,0.386,0.188) the difference was all statistically signifcant (P<0.05);those seven variables that the attack type, and the hidness, and the severity, and the sex, and the education, and the psychoticism,and the positive could be predict to marriage quality of epilepsy patients,Adjusted R square was0.903,After adjustment was0.021.Conclusion The lever of marriage quality of the epilepsy patients and spouses were lower than the general population, marital quality of spouses of patients with epilepsy level were lower than patients with epilepsy,marital quality of study group and the control groupl was significant lower than health people in different ages、genders and different academic degree;comparison between the study group:women lower than men, college group better than secondary group. The lever of marriage quality of the epilepsy patients was correlated with severity of epilepsy disease, and traitor of personality, copy style,and can be do comprehensive intervention from those.
