Nowadays, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (called MRI) is one of the most significant medical video measures. It is also a important part of medical imaging technology. With the development of MRI technology,it is the pursuing target for all the manufacturers to improve the level of skill, optimize the structure of equipment and meet the needs of the users. As the core component of MRI, spectrometer influences the quality of imaging directly. It has been a focus for the manufacturers to lower the cost of it as well as optimize its structure, guarantee the quality of it.This paper is the innovation of the former MR communication programme. To realize the high integration, it is the research and re-design of the1.5T communication programme.The point is the interconnection of two gigabit ethernet cards based on FPGA. Gigabit Ethernet Card based on FPGA introduces IP core and Ethernet protocol, through programming flexibly, the communication between PC and spectrometer has been improved.Firstly, this paper introduced the interconnection scheme of design for two gigabit ethernet cards based on FPGA,then implementation in detail.On the hardware side, the two gigabit ethernet cards have been implemented by using FPGA, our work included structure design inside FPGA, which was made up of Link, RX/TX FIFO, LINK2TSE, TSE. The external circuit design which included Power and clock circuit, working display circuit, SFP circuit, FPGA Configuration Circuit was also completed in the paper. The design method and circuit graph were given too. On the software side, the paper included the FPGA external circuit program design which controls the peripheral devices was completed, module code design, protocol conversion between LINK and PCI, through the design research about PCI Bus.This paper has finished the designs of schematic diagram, PCB and system test. With the good effect,that realizes the high integration and the lower cost.strengthens the dependability and maintainability of the MRI system as well as solving the problem of EOL component.
