With the development of biomedical research, the study of the cell mechanism through the measurement of the cell bioelectric signals using neural chip is a boostng area. It demands novel data acquisition system, which can obtain multichannel signals simultaneously, such as 32, 64 or 128 channels, and can produce stimulations. At present, dominant products in this area are from abroad companies, and domestic products can not satisfy research requirements.This paper presents a multi-channel high-speed data acquisition system based on PCI and DSP. The system can be applied to the research of neural chip, and reach the same level of foreign products. It has 72 simulous sample channels, programmable sample frequency (50K, 100K, 200KHz), and 4 output channels of stimulation. The system utilizes CPLD to realize logical and timing control between DSP and multi-channel ADC. The interface between DSP's HPI and PCI bus is employed to achieve high-speed data transmission. Then, this paper introduced the system's software and hardware. At last, we developed the data transmission based on ethernet, which can be the foundation of the embeded system in our future study.
