Objective:Study on the endoscopic characteristics of chronic atrophic gastritis andits relationship with clinical pathology, it aims to provide guidance forclinical diagnosis and treatment.Material and methods:From December2011to December2012, we select3412patients whowere given an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy in our hospital,115casesof them were given under gastroscope diagnosis CAG as the objectives. We made a comparative analysis on the consistency of endoscopicdiagnosis and pathologic examination and used urea enzymatic method todetect Hp infection.Results:1. The consistency rates was65.2%for endoscopy and pathologicalexamination, there was high consistency on mucosal atrophy andintestinal conditions.2. CAG pathological diagnosis had a high specificity (above65%);Mucous membrane rough, granular-like change sensitivity was thehighest (62.6%). The species specificity of CAG endoscopic andpathologic diagnosis of two kinds coexistence were above98%above,the sensitivities was over85%.3. The moderate to severe atrophy and moderate to severe intestinalmetaplasia rates were significantly higher than the previous two groups inmucous membrane rough group and the coexistence of two kinds group, after statistical analysis, P<0.05, there was significance in statistic.4. CAG endoscopy Hp-positive infection rate as70%, but HP-positiveinfection rate in coexistence of two kinds group was significantly higher than the other groups (above95%), after statistical analysis, P<0.05, therewas significance in statistic.Conclusion:1.Endoscopic mucosal rough group and the two forms coexist groupsensitivity, severe atrophy rate, severe intestinal metaplasia rate, HPinfection were significantly higher than the other two groups2.CAG endoscopic performance in the diagnosis of disease, intestinalmetaplasia, and determine the extent of the pathological diagnosis ofdysplasia has more satisfactory accuracy and specificity of endoscopy asthe best means of checking CAG clinical CAG have a more accuratediagnosis high value3.Endoscopic diagnosis and histopathological CAG although compliancerate is higher, but there are still differences in the accuracy of clinicaldiagnosis of pathological results still must be combined in order toimprove the diagnostic accuracy of CAG avoid misdiagnosis...
