| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of point application combined with western medicine in treating acute asthmatic bronchopneumonia (AABP) of phlegm heat closed type lung.Method:60cases of children with AABP of phlegm heat closed type lung were randomly divided into two groups and each group was30cases. The control group was treated with western medicine. The experiment group was treated with point application based on the western medicine. The improvement of the symptoms, signs and recurrence rate were observed after treatment.Results:. The total efficiency of experiment group was100%and the significant efficiency was76.67%, while the control group was100%and66.67%. There were no significant difference (P>0.05). Comparing the primary symptoms between the two groups, it showed statistic different in the improvement of cough and asthma(P<0.05).No itches, pruritus, rashes and other side effects were founded in experiment group. By following up for three months, we founded the recurrence rate in experiment group was dramatically lower than that of the control group.(P<0.05)Conclusions:Point application combined with western medicine may improve the significant efficiency and symptoms of cough and asthma, and reduce recurrence rate, could be a better selection for the treatment of AABP of phlegm heat closed type lung. |
