Purpose:fMRI research to observe the correlation of motor function with the functional brain imaging of the Na-Zhi method of Midnight-noon ebb-flow acupuncture method used in the Yuan-Source and He-Sea of the Stomach Vessel of Foot-Yangming from youth healthy subjects, to provide the punctual selected acupoint therapy for data supporting, laying the foundations for the study of following-up " Treat Wei alone took Yang-Ming " indirectly.Data and method:Prepare15cases of healthy young volunteers, every volunteer required3fMRI scans,45times totally,3fMRI scans of every volunteer perfored:①acupuncture ST36and ST42in7:00am-9:00am(punctual selected acupoint group);②acupuncture ST36and ST42in15:00am-17:00am(unpunctual selected acupoint group);③acupuncture ST36away1~2cm and ST42away1~2cm in7:00am-9:00am (punctual selected non-acupoint group),15times scan totally of each group. Observed the similarities and differences of the fMRI brain imaging between punctual selected acupoint groups punctual selected acupoint group and unpunctual selected acupoint group physiologically,and to explore the relationship between related-brain regions with motor function.Results:The group of punctual selected acupoint showed that the left superior temporal gyrus、 right postcentral gyrus、right posterior inferior cerebellar lobe and cerebellar tonsils、the right insular cortex had strengthened function;The right anterior frontal lobe and the right middle temporal gyrus had weakened function.The group of unpunctual selected acupoint showed that the left middle frontal gyrus、the left parietal precuneus、the white matter of left parietal precuneus、the left cingulate cortex、 the white matter of left cingulate、the right medial frontal gyrus、the right occipital precuneus、 the white matter of right cingulated had weakened function.The group of punctual non-acupoints showed that the left superior frontal gyrus、the left middle frontal gyrus、the left inferior frontal gyrus、the left superior temporal gyrus and the right insular cortex had strengthened function. Comparison of inter-group functional variation between groups showed that the group of punctual selected acupoint had strengthened/weakened function,the group of unpunctual selected acupoint only had weakened function, The group of punctual non-acupoints only had strengthened function; Intra-group analysis showed that each group had different functional variation on brain.In this experiment, only the group of punctual selected acupoint activated the right cerebellar lobe,the right postcentral gyrus and the right insular cortex either,which contact with motor function. The main function of cerebellar is to regulate the body balance and muscle force (muscle tension), and the coordination of voluntary movement; Postcentral gyrus is particularly important for the deep sensory and the superficial sensory of WEI patients’recovery;The insular cortex is able to induce somatosensory.Conclusion:Acupoint stimulation is closely to the activation of brain,the observation study of the Na-Zhi method of Midnight-noon ebb-flow acupuncture method used in the left ST36and left ST42of healthy young men by Bold-fMRI can effectively activate right cerebellum, right insula and right posterior central gyrus, whose activation will be good for body balance and/muscle tension and voluntary movement, this study can also provides the data support for meridian-system study of the Na-Zhi method of Midnight-noon ebb-flow acupuncture method.
