Objective:To observe the effect of "shouxingbao" health wine on the activity of Superoxide Dismutase (SOD),Glutathione Peroxidase (GSH-Px) and the content of Malondialdehyde (MDA) and Hydroxyproline (Hyp) in the skin aged mice. To investigate mechanism of "shouxingbao" health wine in skin anti-aging and providing a scientific experiment basis for its development and utilization.Methods:100Kunming aged mice were randomly divided into four groups:the aged control group (normal saline), health wine low-dose group (health wine5ml/kg d) middle dose group (health wine10ml/kg.d), high-dose group (health wine20ml/kg.d), each group were administered respectively by gastric perfusion for90days, the skin samples of mice were collected to determine the activity of SOD, GSH-Px, the content of MDA and Hyp.Results:Compared with the aged control group, the activity of SOD increased remarkably and the content of MDA decreased respectively in low, middle and high-dose groups, there were significant statistical significance(P<0.01). The activity of GSH-Px and the content of Hyp increased respectively in low-dose group, there were statistical significance (P<0.05). It increased remarkably in middle and high-dose groups, there were significant statistical significance (P<0.01).Compared with the low-dose group, the activity of SOD and the content of Hyp increased respectively and the content of MDA decreased remarkably in middle and high-dose groups, there were significant statistical significance (P<0.01). The activity of GSH-Px increased in middle-dose group, there were statistical significance (P<0.05),And it increased remarkably in high-dose group, there were significant statistical significance(P<0.01).Compared with the middle-dose group, the activity of SOD, GSH-Px and the content of Hyp increased respectively and the content of MDA decreased in high-dose group, there were no statistical significance (P>0.05).The results showed that the activity of SOD, GSH-Px and the content of Hyp increased remarkably, and the contents of MDA decreased respectively in health wine groups. The effect of high and middle dose groups was better than that of low dose group, and it was equivalent that the high and middle dose groups.Conclusion:The "shouxingbao" health wine has certain effect on delaying skin aging.Its mechanism may be related to the enhancing activity of Oxidase and capacity of antioxidant and eliminating free radicals, and stimulating fibroblasts and forming collagen for preventing and delaying skin aging.
