Clinical Research On Tuina Combined With Drug To Treat Knee Joint Kashin-Beck Disease Of Phlegm Accumulating With Blood Stasis

Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect and safety of phlegm accumulating with blood stasis type of Kashin-Beck Disease treat by Tuina combined with DaGuJie â…£ capsule.Methods:94patients were randomly dived into treatment group and control group.The treatment group were took Tuina combined with DaGuJie IV capsule. The control group were took Ibuprofen Sustained Release Capsules combined with Sulfuric acid of cartilage. Use VAS and the WOMAC as observing indexes. After2months, we evaluated the clinical effect.Result:We finish80cases, both of two group is40. The treatment group total effective rate is85.0%, the control group total effective rate is87.5%.Statistical analysis showed no significant difference in therapeutic effect between two groups.(p>0.05). While the treatment group cure rate is42.5%, the control group is15.0%, the difference between two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). It means the treatment group cure rate is higher than control group.After treatment,the VAS,the WOMAC pain score,the WOMAC stiffness score and the WOMAC physiological function of the two groups are lower.The difference was statistically significant (P<0.01).It means both of the two methods can relieve pain and improve knee function.After treatment,the VAS between two groups has no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).It means both of two methods have same effect on reliveing pain.While the WOMAC stiffness score and the WOMAC physiological function between two groups are statistically significant difference (P<0.05). It means improving function,the treatment group have better effect.The side effect in treatment group is4.26%,in control group is12.77%.It has no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:Tuina combined with DaGuJie IV capsule is safe and effective on treat Kashin-Beck Disease. Tuina combined with DaGuJie â…£ capsule and Ibuprofen Sustained Release Capsules on treat phlegm accumulating with blood stasis type of Kashin-Beck Disease, both of them have good effect on alleviating pain and improving knee function.While general TCM treatment have better effect on improving stiffness and physiological function.
