Resarch On Operation Analysis And Supply Efficiency Of New Rural China Cooperative Medical Scheme In Nanjing Suburbs

Since2003, The New Rural Cooperative Medical Scheme has been implemented in Nanjing suburbs.so far the scheme continue to increase the scope and scale, has achieved great success, improving conditions of health care services in rural areas, solved impoverished by hospitalization, illness issues into poverty once again, in the promotion of social harmony and stability, improving people’s livelihood has played a positive role. But the scheme have been implemented for only five or six years, and is still in its infancy, the system design deficiencies make the scheme in the implementation process will inevitably be many problems, in order to measure effectiveness brought to the rural population and the problems encountered in the process, for which the author launched a field research in Nanjing suburbs specifically.The research object in this paper is The New Rural Cooperative Medical Scheme of Nanjing Suburbs.First, in-depth summary of the relevant research literature at home and abroad, summing up both an overview of the implementation of the new rural cooperative medical and health security and exploration of overseas experience. Again, make the research on operation analysis and supply efficiency. Operation analysis is divided into two aspects of macro-level and household level. The study of supply efficiency can provides an effective assessment method for the future implement of the scheme. Finally, put forward some reasonable suggestions to establish a highly efficient, healthy, and sustainable new rural China cooperative medical scheme.This thesis is made up of six chapters.Chapter One:Introduction. This study specifies the background and issues raised, topics of purpose and meaning, research content, routes and methods, and this may be the innovation and shortcomings.Chapter Two:Theoretical basis and research review. This chapter describes the needs of this study, the concepts and theoretical basis and overview of international research for the study below, laid a solid theoretical basis. Chapter Three:Research methods and data sources. This chapter introduces the use of empirical methods and data sources for empirical research to pave the way below. Research methods include Binary Response Model and Data Envelopment Analysis, the data is provided by Finance Bureau and fieldwork.Chapter Four:Operation Analysis of the New Rural Cooperative Medical Scheme. This chapter analyzes two levels of the scheme in Nanjing suburbs, namely the macro level and household level. Macro-level study based on the per capita funding criteria, funding amount, the proportion of party funding and compensation benefits of such areas, farmers level studies are knowledge degree of farmers, satisfaction and impact of co-participation Farmers satisfaction factors empirical research.Chapter Five:Supply Efficiency of The New Rural Cooperative Medical Scheme.This chapter methods to assess the supply efficiency of the scheme and find out the reasons for the "inefficiency". Finally, propose efficiency advice and suggestions for the future.Chapter Six:Conclusions and recommendations. In concluding this chapter, research results of the previous section, propose a few reasonable suggestions for efficient, healthy and sustainable New Rural Cooperative Medical Scheme.
