Objective To investigate the relationship between the CYP19gene polymorphism inUighur and the incident breast cancer. Methods Use the polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) detected the polymorphism of theCYP19gene rs10046between112cases of Uighur women with breast cancer and139cases of the Uighur normal female, and analysis of the loci polymorphic with breastcancer susceptibility and breast cancer-associated protein expression. Results Threegenes of the CYP19gene rs10046locus genotyping compliance Hardy-Weinbergequilibrium; allele C, the proportion of T in the case group were48.2%,51.8, and46.8%in the control group,53.2%, the allele distribution no significant difference, P>0.05; CC,the TC, the distribution frequency of TT genotype in the group of breast cancer were26.8%,42.9%,30.4%in the control group, genotypes were17.3%,59.0%,23.7%Thedistribution of differences between the two groups statistically different (P <0.05). Bodymass index (BMI)≥25Kg/m2, age≥50years of age, the number of live births≥2riskfactors for for Uighur breast cancer incidence; abortion, carrying CYP19TC genotype areprotective factors in Uygur from breast cancer. After adjustment for age, body mass index, age at menarche, pregnancy, breast-feeding breast cancer risk factors, postmenopausalUighur incidence independent risk factor about breast cancer. There was no statisticalsignificance differences and the correlation between CYP19genotype and breast cancertissue of ER, PR, Her-2, Ki-67expression, P>0.05. Conclusion Age, BMI, and livebirths, miscarriages, and the CYP19gene rs10046polymorphism are closely related withthe breast cancer incidence of Uygur in Xinjiang, which carry the TC genotype mayreduce the risk of breast cancer of Uighur women.
