Objective: To investigate the relationship of the PDE4D gene SNP87and rs33395polymor-phisms with ischemic stroke(IS) between Uygur and Han patients in Xinjiang.Methods: Using PCR restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) and genesequencing method in226patients with ischemic stroke patients (case group,110cases in116cases of Uygur, Han) and220without neurological disease patients (control group,102cases in118cases of Uygur, Han)to discuss PDE4D gene SNP87genes,polymorphism, The case-control analysis was adopted to analyze the frequencies ofgenotypes and alleles. Results:1) The genotypes of PDE4D gene SNP87and rs33395were consistent with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (P>0.05).2) A case of group PDE4Dgene locus SNP87C allele frequency was significantly higher than that of the controlgroup(P<0.05). A group of Uygur subgroup PDE4D SNP87gene loci for type CC ratioand the frequency of C allele was obviously higher than the control group the Uygurgroups (P<0.05); A group of ethnic subgroup and PDE4D SNP87gene loci of type CCratio and C allele frequency was significantly higher than that of the control group ethnicgroup (P<0.05).3) In Uygur and Han population, PDE4D gene rs33395CT genotypefrequency distribution maximum, T allele frequency higher than the C allele;but there wasno significantly different in study(P>0.05). there was no different between Uygur andHan people and each other(P>0.05).4) Divided by sex, the frequencies of genotypes CCof the PDE4D gene SNP87in male patients are higher than that in male controls (P<0.05).5) Divided by the history hypertension, the distribution of genotypes and allelefrequency of the PDE4D gene SNP87has statistical difference between the CIS groupand the control group who have the history of hypertension(P<0.05),6)Divided by the history Diabetes, the distribution of genotypes and allele frequency of the PDE4D geneSNP87has statistical difference between the CIS group and the control group who havethe history of Diabetes(P<0.05). Conclusion:1.PDE4DSNP87C gene locus allelefrequency of hypertension may increase the occurrence of ischemic stroke risk, the risk inthe Xinjiang region,2.The rs33395of PDE4D gene may not be associated with ischemicstroke in Uygur and Han population.3.There might be an association between PDE4Dgene SNP87polymorphisms and the morbidity risk of CIS among the population, who aremale, who have the history of hypertension. who have the history of Diabetes.
