To olecranon fracture in surgical treatment, tension bandkirschner’s wire with most widely used at present, clinical effect iswell. But there are many reports in the literature, kirschner wireloose or quit postoperation, cause pain or inflammation, appeareven cutaneous fistula. Cancellous screw with tension bandtreatment of olecranon fracture have good clinical effects too. Butfor both mechanical evaluation, there are differences.The aim of this study to both by comparing the data ofbiomechanics, the hope for provides theoretical basis for clinicalapplication and treatment. Method: On olecranon fracture wereused respectively tension band kirschner’s wire and cancellousscrew with tension band with fixed, biomechanics test, compared toits fixed strength. We by the root for30anticorrosive processinghuman elbow joint bone specimens, making oblique type olecranonfracture model, divide into A1.A2. A3groups, B1.B2. B3groups.A1‐A3is tension band kirschner’s wire with group, B1‐B3forcancellous screw with tension band with group. A1and B1group did axial compression experiment, A2and B2group did axialpull out the experiment, the A3and B3group did reverseexperiment. The record of the experimental data import SPSS11.5statistical software,did Paired t-test to separate comparison andstatistical inference. Result: In the axial compression experiments,along with the increase of the fracture displacement and put theload is also facing growing, each specimen axial displacement in2mm of loadings averages when they are respectively: A1group205.82±6.58N, B1group285.63±6.26N, According to the statisticsPaired t-test result, according to the inspection standard0.05, notrefuse to invalid assumptions, think that the two groups of averagesdifferences between groups has significant difference respectively(P﹤0.05).In the axial pull out the experiment, along with thepressure of increasing tension, fracture displacement also increasewhen fracture displacement of2mm, the load is respectively: A2group72.47±2.19N, B2group105.66±3.16N, according to statisticsPaired t-test result, according to the inspection standard0.05, thinkthat the two groups of averages differences between groups hassignificant difference respectively (P﹤0.05).In reverseexperiments, along with the increase of torque, reverse Angleincrease, Reverse Angle mean differences are respectivelywheneach specimen in torque to2N.M: A3group3.32±0.23°,B1group 3.14±0.21°,According to the statistics Paired t-test result, accordingto the inspection standard0.05, not refuse to invalid assumptions,Think the A3.B3group has no significant difference (P﹥0.05).conclusion:1.cancellous screw with tension band with group ofaxial compression strength and pull out better thantension bandkirschner’s wire with group, has better mechanical stability, can bein early fracture healing provide a strong fixed.2. cancellousscrew with tension band group with tension band kirschner’s wiregroup in reverse experiment no significant difference, explain bothagainst shearing force strength are basically the same.
