Clinical Observation Of TCM Fumigation And Washing With Kirschner Wire Tension Band In The Treatment Of Mayo Type Ⅰand Ⅱ Olecranon Fractures

Objective: To explore and analyze the clinical value of Huo Xue Zhi Tong Fumigation Lotion combined with Kirschner wire tension band in the treatment of Mayo typeⅠandⅡOlecranon fractures.Method: 60 patients eligible for inclusion,Hospitalized in Department of Orthopaedics,Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,were randomly divided into 30 in the control group and 30 in the treatment group.The control group was treated routinely after Kirschner wire tension band surgery,and the treatment group was treated with Huo Xue Zhi Tong Fumigation Lotion after operations on the basis of the control group to observe the clinical effect of the two groups after treatment.Results:1.There was no significant difference in fracture healing time between the two groups(P >0.05).2.At 4weeks and 6 weeks after operations,the treatment group was better than the control group(P <0.05)in improving the degree of pain.At 3months and 6 months after operations,There was no significant difference in improving the degree of pain between the two groups(P >0.05)3.At 6 months after operations,There was no significant difference in overall MEPS scores between the two groups(P >0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group(P <0.05)in Elbow motor ability scores.4.There was no significant difference in complication rate between the two groups(P >0.05).Conclusion: Huo Xue Zhi Tong Fumigation Lotion combined with Kirschner wire tension band is effective and safe in the treatment of Mayo typeⅠandⅡOlecranon fractures,which can effectively reduce the early pain after operations,and can effectively improve the Elbow joint exercise ability at 6months after operations.
