Objective:To investigate the influencing factors of perinatal congenital heart disease (CHD), so as to provide scientific evidence for congenital heart disease prevention.Method:A case control study was carried out.253cases of perinatal CHD proved by clinic and B ultrasound from45monitoring hospitals of14cities in Hunan Province between July1,2007and March30,2008were selected as case group. Healthy live births at the corresponding period without CHD, however have the same gender and the the same age (differ within2weeks) were selected as control group.Parents of disease cases and controls using the unification questionnaire, filled out through gynecologist’s face-to-face inquiry. It involved basic situation of the pregnant women, husbands and newborns, family history, a wide range of exposures that occurred before and during the pregnancy and pregnant woman self-rating scale. The data was entryed using Epidata3.2. Statistical description method was adopted to analyze the general information of mother and perinatal. SPSS16.0software was used for single factor analysis and multi-factor logistic regression analysis. Results:The result of single factor analysis shows that CHD was associated with the pregnant and puerperal women’s age, gravidity, educational level, occupation, exposure to occupational risk factors, suffering from chronic diseases, pregnancy flu, early pregnancy reaction, reproductive system infection before or during pregnancy, place of residence exists environment pollution sources, consumption of pickled and smoked food, fish and shrimp, meat and eggs, fruits and vegetables, milk and beans during pregnancy, working during pregnancy and abnormal reproductive history, depression and anxiety; husband’s age, suffering from chronic diseases. The result of multi-factor logistic regression analysis indicated that the incidence of CHD was correlated with mother’s age, educational level, reproductive system infection, consumption of meat, fish, shrimp, eggs, fruits and vegetables during pregnancy, depression and anxiety. Conclusion:This study demonstrated that mother’s age over35years old, reproductive tract infections, depression and anxiety are the risk factors of perinatal CHD.Mother’s high educational level, intake of meat, fish, shrimp, eggs, fruits and vegetables during pregnancy are the protective factors of CHD. Strengthening prenatal health education, enhancing the pregnant women’s nutrition supplement, keeping ease of mind during pregnancy and avoiding infections can help to reduce the risk of perinatal CHD.
