Clinical Observation Of Spontaneous Pneumothorax In Treatment With Regulating Qi And Activating Blood Circulation

Objective: Observed the clinical efficacy of spontaneous pneumothorax(qi stagnationand blood stasis) in treatment with regulating qi and activating blood circulation andinvestigated its mechanism of action. Determine the drug’s efficacy and safety ofregulating qi and activating blood circulation in the treatment of spontaneouspneumothorax.Methods: In accordance with the randomized and controlled principles,60patientsmet the inclusion criteria were divided into experimental group of32cases,28cases in thecontrol group. The experimental group in western medicine treatment add chinesemedicine of regulating qi and activating blood circulation, that is Xue Fu Zhu Yu Tangadded Green Tangerine Peel and Finger Citron, decoction300ml,drank moderatepostprandiall half-hour morning and evening, daily one; the control group take the methodsof western medicine only. Observed synthetic effect in patients, removing the drainagetube time, days of hospitalization and recurrence rate, the results were statisticallyanalyzed.Result: In terms of Synthetic effect, removing the drainage tube time, days ofhospitalization and recurrence rate, the experimental group is better than the control group,it is statistically significant.Conclusion: The drugs of regulating qi and activating blood circulation used inspontaneous pneumothorax(qi stagnation and blood stasis)can accelerate the absorption ofgas in the pleural cavity, promote the healing of the pleura. Combination with conventionalwestern medicine treatment, can improve the efficacy, reduce the number of days inhospital and the relapse rate. Its mechanism may be that the drugs of regulating qi andactivating blood circulation can improve microcirculation and oxygen supply, anti- inflammatory, relieve airway obstruction, prevent air trapping，promote the damaged partsof the proliferation and repair, protect endothelial cells, regulation of immunity, etc.
