Objective: To study the distribution of TCM syndrome of the Chronic Hepatitis C,and investigate the correlation of the physicochemical indexes and TCM syndrome.Methods:1. Document research: Studying documents about the TCM treatment ofCHC by using descriptive statistical analysis method, and summarizing the distribution lawof the CHC syndrome in the literature.2.Clinical research:Collectting patients’ clinical datawith CHC through the questionnaires, studying the distribution of TCM syndrome of CHC,and investigating the correlation of the physicochemical indexes and TCM syndromethrough using descriptive statistical analysis, one-way ANOVA, chi-square test and otherstatistical methods.Results:1.Document research: Lack of strength is the most common symptom ofCHC, and syndrome of liver depression and spleen deficiency is its main type.2.Clinicalresearch:①For the119patients with CHC, the most common symptom is irascibility; themost common tongue manifestation is Dark-Red Tongue and Yellow-GreasyFur, the mainpulse conditions are string-like pulse and fine pulse.②the syndrome of liver depressionand spleen deficiency is its main type; deficiency syndrome mingling with excesssyndrome is its most important nature;its pathological changes mainly impaired the liver, spleen and kidney; its accompanying symptoms are blood stasis pattern and dampness-heatpattern.③As the symptomatic score, syndrome of dual deficiency of yin and yan ishighest;female patients higher than male;the score is variant in different age groups, andincreases with age trending.④The syndrome distribution regardless of gender but agedifferences. The means of ALT, AST, TBIL, DBIL, ALB of the damp-heat type is highest, while yin and yang-deficiency type’ AST/ALT ratio and GLO highest.⑤The HCV RNAlevels in CHC between various syndromes have no significant difference (P>0.05).⑥The liver spot thickening in blood stasis pattern, syndrome of dual deficiency of qi and yin,spleen-kidney yang deficiency pattern and yin and yang-deficiency type is mostobvious;fogged vascular lake in Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney type is mostobvious; The thickness of kidney in Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney type is highest; The width of portal vein in Qi and yin deficiency type is highest.Conclusion:①The syndrome of liver depression and spleen deficiency is the maintype of CHC;②Deficiency syndrome mingling with excess syndrome is its most importantnature;its pathological changes mainly impaired the liver, spleen and kidney; itsaccompanying symptoms are blood stasis pattern and dampness-heat pattern.③Thesyndrome distribution regardless of gender but age differences.④The syndromedistribution regardless of HCV RNA levels but liver function index and B-modeultrasonography.⑤Yin and yang-deficiency type, spleen-kidney yang deficiency patternand syndrome of dual deficiency of qi and yin are in late stage of the disease, and the liverinjuried heavilly;while the damp-heat type is in the onset of the disease, and the liverdamage to a lesser extent.
