Clinical Study Of The Effects Of Changningtang On Antibiotic Associated Diarrhea In The Adults And Its Mechanism

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of changningtang in patients with Antibioticassociated diarrhea in the adults.Ways:FromSeptember2010to November2011,ninety patients with Antibioticassociated diarrhea in the adults were enrolled in this study and divided randomly intothree groups. Thirty cases were received changningtang as the study group, and thirty caseswere received peifeikang capsule and thirty cases were received guchangzhixiewan as thecontrol groups. Three groups have been received the medicine treatment for four weeks,and then the changes of clinical symptom and physical sign were analyzed.Results:After4-weeks treatment, we found the changes of three groups were betterthan before the treatment. The changes of clinical symptom and physical sign weresignificantly better after the treatment(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the study groupwas higher than that of the control groups (90%vs76.67%vs73.33%,P<0.05).For thechanges of clinical symptom and physical sign, the study group was significantly betterthan the control groups (P<0.05).Conclusion: Changningtang was the significantly effective medicament forAntibiotic associated diarrhea in the adults.
