Objective:By observing the New Zealand rabbits were placed reversible tubal IUDinterstitial tubal mucous membrane of the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries histologicaland pathological changes in the injected bacteria, investigate the blocking effect of the IUDascending infection of the pathogen through the genital tract mucosa pathological basis.Method:6-8month weight±0.5kg,30female New Zealand white rabbits wererandomly divided into three groups, interstitial tubal surgery group underwent reversibletubal IUD placed surgery, the sham operation group, repeat surgical procedures, but notplaced on birth control. The control group received no treatment.Three groups ofexperimental animals in the same environment under conventional breeding. Postoperativerecovery was feeding a month, the surgery group and the sham group by vaginal injectionof mixed bacteria to establish the animal model of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, and the blank control group not treated.Surgical dissection of postoperative28days theNew Zealand Rabbit Uterus, fallopian tube, ovary part of the mucosal tissue forhistological and pathological examination.Result: Histopathology can be seen: Surgery group in New Zealand rabbitendometrium, a small amount of ovarian interstitial chronic inflammatory cell infiltration, tubal epithelium with mild hyperplasia, and the remaining normal; sham operation group, the New Zealand rabbit endometrial, ovary, interstitial chronic inflammatory cellinfiltration; blank control group, the New Zealand rabbit endometrial epithelium, endometrial glands normal; fallopian tubes, ovaries normal. Conclusion:From the biopsy results, the New Zealand rabbit oviduct of interstitialplacement the reversible tubal IUD can be effective against pathogenic microorganismsthrough the oviduct to continue upstream to cause pelvic infection, so as to achieve the purpose of the prevention of pelvic inflammatory disease occurred.
