Objectives: To master the current situation of Job Satisfaction of Health Workers inAnhui Township hospitals, this essay analyzes the relationship between job satisfactionlevel and demographic characteristics and explores the influencing factors of the jobsatisfaction, and provide a scientific basic data for the formulation of relevant policiesof the health human resources in Anhui township hospitals.Methods:40township hospitals were randomly selected for the investigation of thescene from8counties in Anhui Province. All the post health service staff in hospitals issubject of investigation. I use the self-made questionnaire and investigated deeply atscene investigators On-site investigation day and sent out questionnaires at the site. Let therespondents filled the questionnaires anonymously and sealed in the envelope and putinto the specified ballot box. After that the investigators unified the box. There are twoparts in the questionnaires.①The demographic characteristics of the surveyed, sex, age,educational level, marital status, titles, working hours;②Measurement on Job Satisfaction,I use JSS scale which was developed by Professor Paul E in1985.JSS scale is a36item,nine facet scale to assess employee attitudes about the job and aspects of the job. Items are written inboth directions, so about half must be reverse scored. The nine facets are Pay, Promotion,Supervision, Fringe Benefits, Contingent Rewards (performance based rewards), OperatingProcedures (required rules and procedures), Coworkers, Nature of Work, and Communication. Eachfacet is assessed with four items, and a total score is computed from all items.Results:①The scores of totally Job Satisfaction of Health Workers in Anhui Township hospitals is111.7±23.32,means “no satisfaction”. Coworkers(14.8±3.06),supervisions(13.9±3.83),Nature of work(13.8±4.11) and communications(13.5±4.18)scores higher than otheraspects; Promotion(10.0±3.75) Fringe Benefits(10.1±4.35), Contingent Rewards(10.4±3.76)scores lower than other aspects;②Job satisfaction of medical workers of different gender,age, educational level, title, jobs, working hours does not have statistically significantdifference(p>0.05). job satisfaction of different levels of monthly income havestatistically significant differenc(ep<0.01)。③Spearman methods found that: The nine facetsare correlated with each other, in addition to the high correlation existed in the promotion and pay,promotion and Fringe Benefits, Contingent Rewards and pay, Contingent Rewards and FringeBenefits, the other facets are lower correlated with each other.;④Logistic regressionanalysis found that monthly income of the surveyed was the influencing factors of thetotal job satisfaction, compared with income group <1000RMB, the job satisfaction ofincome group>1500RMB were2.376times higher than that of <1000RMB.Conclusions:①Job Satisfaction of Health Workers in Anhui Township hospitals wasnot high;②Job satisfaction level of coworkers, Nature of work, Supervision and communicationwere high③Job satisfaction level of promotion, Fringe Benefits and pay were low.④Theincome level was the important influencing factors of the job satisfaction⑤The promotionof the total Job Satisfaction of Health Workers in Anhui Township hospitals should bemotivated from all nine facets.Recommendations:①Pay attention to the research of the job satisfaction of healthworkers in Anhui Township hospitals;②Improve the health service environment ofAnhui Township hospitals;③Pay attention to the material incentives;④Pay attention to thecareer development of the health workers in Anhui township hospitals.
