Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Yuan-primary and Luo-connecting needling method plus medication on the and influence event-related potential300(P300) in patients with vascular cognitive impairment no dementia.Method:Forty patients with mild cognitive impairment no dementia randomized into a treatment group and a control group,20in each. The treatment group was managed by Yuan-primary and Luo-connecting needling method plus medication, and the control group was managed by medication only. The evoked potential (EP)instrument with auditory oddball paradigm and the Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE) and Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)were adopted for evaluation before and after treatment by professionals.Result:The total effective rate was85.0%in the treatment group versus65.0%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE)and Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) score had marked improvement in both groups after treatment (P<0.01,P<0.05).After treatment, the Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE) and Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) score in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group (P<0.05).The N2and P3latencies were obviously shortened in both groups after treatment (P<0.01,P<0.05),and the amplitude was also significantly increased (P<0.01,P<0.05).After treatment,N2and P3latencies and amplitude in the treatment group were markedly different from that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Yuan-primary and Luo-connecting needling method plus medication can significantly improve the cognitive function of the patients with cognitive impairment no dementia,is an effective approach in treating cognitive impairment no dementia.
