Clinical Applications Of Liposuction Assisted With Surgical Correction

Objective To evaluate the clinical effects of liposuction assisted with surgical correction using in plastic surgery, so as to guide clinical work and to obtain the best effect and the lest complication. Methods All68patients undergoing liposuction assisted with surgical correction were analyzed retrospectively during2009-2012years. This paper discuss the applications of liposuction in lipoma, multiple lipoma, gynecomastia and accessory breast, the treatment of abdominal wall cosmetic surgery and other fields. Got a lot of useful clinical practice experience. Results All of68patients performed liposuction assisted with surgical correction were satisfied with the results. There was no infection, hematoma, seroma. The lipomas could be removed completely with no recurrence, small scars. Liposuction combined with lacteal gland resection via small periareolar incision is a simple, effective, and ideal treatment for gynecomastia with advantage as less bleeding and good esthetic results of postoperative thoracic appearance. Under a strict selection of patients and precise performing on the operation, the combined abdominoplasty and liposuction procedure can achieve more satisfactory outcome than the traditional technique. It is an effective and low-risk approach to reshape the abdominal contour. Conclusions Liposuction assisted with surgical correction is a safe, effective and minimally invasive contour shaping operation. Compared with traditional surgeries, the technique is safer, less traumatic, less physical efforts, more effective and thus it is worth to propagate in use clinically.
