Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To study the differences of Lp-PLA2activity level in ACS patients and explorethe clinical significance of Lp-PLA2in the development of ACS and PCI’s influenceon it.Methods:1. Choose91ACS patients as experimental group, including UAP group (58cases:female/male,13/45), AMI group (33cases: female/male,8/25) and SAP group (40cases: female/male,16/24); choose other21female and29male with normal CAG ascontrol group.2. Use CAG and PCI for AMI in12hours; take3ml blood from all participantsbefore the surgery, and respectively on the1st day,4th day and15th day after thesurgery.3. Test the CRP, WBC for all participants and use the ELISA method to test theconcentration of Lp-PLA2; record the age, gender, blood pressure, BMI and diabetesmellitus history in details.Results:1. Lp-PLA2activity level in ACS group is apparently higher than the SAP groupand control group(716.94±132.41ng/ml vs428.02±84.29ng/ml);(716.94±132.41ng/ml vs287.32±98.66ng/ml)(P<0.01);AMI group is higher than the UAPgroup (713.73±99.03ng/ml vs684.73±88.52ng/ml)(P<0.05); Lp-PLA2activitylevel rises with the extent of coronary lesions; all subgroups exists differences (P<0.05or0.01);2. Lp-PLA2activity level is much higher in male patients than in female patients(733.76±94.23ng/ml vs635.23±89.26ng/ml)(P<0.05);3. On the1st and4th day after the surgery, Lp-PLA2activity levels of AMI patie-nts is apparently go up(722.84±86.56ng/ml vs740.71±86.28ng/ml)(P<0.01), and godown on the15th day compared with before(392.76±49.23ng/ml vs713.73±99.03ng/ml)(P<0.01), but still higher than the healthy group (392.76±49.23ng/ml vs287.32±98.66ng/ml)(P<0.05).Conclusion:1. Patients with ACS plasma Lp-PLA2activity levels were significantly increased, suggesting that Lp-PLA2activity may reflect the severity of coronary artery disease.2. In patients with AMI, LP-PLA2activity levels were transient increase aboutpostoperative inflammation after PCI.
