The Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has a long history in China,which has been born in the course of production and practice of Chinesepeople, and it has been continuously enriched along with struggling againstthe disease. The TCM has made an important contribution to the Chinese’sthriving and prosperous, also produced a positive effect on the wholeworld’s civilization and progress. During the last hundred years, with rapiddevelopment of modern medicine, the TCM has met a challenge, especiallyfaced the impact of Western medicine, and it has been in thedisadvantageous position. The reason lies in the human resourcedevelopment imbalance of the TCM.The study mainly uses questionnaire survey, statistical analysis,literature research method. According to the road: investigationâ†'statisticsanalysisâ†'expert interviewsâ†'deep investigationâ†'conclusions. Theresearch has studied the situation of the remote mountain town, community,country of TCM in Chongqing, and searched the relevant literature fromthe statistical yearbook of Chongqing. SPSS has been used to compare thedata, which has been obtained from the investigation. The human resourcehas been classified in the TCM organization and the TCM hospital. Thedevelopment of human resource of TCM in Chongqing has been describedfrom education, staff categories, professional title, training and otheraspects.This paper has found the dilemma of the development of human resource of TCM in Chongqing:(1) the human resource of TCM isinsufficient, and development unbalance;(2) The fund of the TCM is notenough;(3) Medical services compensation mechanism is not perfect,which effects the motivation;(4) The structure of the human resource ofTCM is unreasonable;(5) The structure of the managerial human resourceof TCM is unreasonable. The constructive measures has been raised:(1) themechanism of the human resource of TCM should be improved;(2) theconstruction of the TCM system should be promoted;(3) the humanresource of TCM evaluation system should be built.The human resource of TCM of Chongqing is the base of HealthChongqing and the development of TCM industry. The survey has foundthe difficulties in the development of the human resource of TCM ofChongqing, explored ways of sustainable development, raised theconstructive measures. This is significant for the development of TCM inChongqing, also is basis of the human resource of TCM structure and thecultivation of talents of TCM.
