Objective: To investigate and analyze ICU patients’ anxiety, depression mood, sleepconditions and their correlation with APACHEⅡand to further explore the factors ofAPACHEⅡ.Using the AII to predict ICU patients’anxiety, depression mood, sleepconditions during the ICU in patient and provide the theoretical basis for ICU healthcare workers when it is necessary for them to take effective therapeutic and nursingintervention strategies. Methods: Studied140ICU patients. The third day after the patients regainedconsciousness, investigators filled out the general questionnaire and APACHE Ⅱsheet according to medical records on the actual situation, the patients filled theHospital Anxiety and Depression Scale and the Hospital Sleep Questionnaire based onthe patients’ own mental state and subjective feelings. Analyzed ICU patients’intensive care experiences, anxiety, depression and sleep conditions as well as thecorrelation with APACHEⅡby test, variance analysis and other statistical analysismethods as well as the factors of APACHEⅡwith the help of multiple linear regressionanalysis.Results:1. The anxiety and depression evaluation of ICU patientsICU patients with anxiety accounted for81.4%and ICU patients with depressionaccounted for77.1%. Because of different genders, ages, occupations, education levels, sources of cost, whether mechanical ventilation were applied and APACHEⅡscore, the patients’ anxiety condition score differences were statistically significant; Due todifferent incomes, whether mechanical ventilation was applied and APACHEⅡscore inpatients, differences were statistically significant.2. The evaluation of ICU patients’ sleep conditionThe sleep disorders score differences of patients with different ages and incomeswere statistically significant. There was also a statistical significance for the scoredifference in the areas of sleep quality, sleep satisfaction, sleep disorders, night wakingfrequency, daytime function from the aspect whether mechanical ventilation was applied.3. Anxiety and depression, sleep and APACHEⅡscore in analysisAnxiety, depression, sleep score and the APACHEⅡscore was statistically related tothe total score.4. Anxiety and depression, sleep on the impacts of APACHE Ⅱ scoreThrough multiple linear regression, it was found that the patients’ anxiety, depression and sleep condition were factors of APACHEⅡ.Conclusions:1.ICU patients had a great deal of anxiety and depression. Anxiety was connected tothe patients’ genders, ages, occupations, education levels, sources of cost, income, whether mechanical ventilation were applied and APACHE Ⅱs core. Anxiety wasrelated to the patients’ incomes, whether mechanical ventilation was applied andAPACHEⅡ score.2.The ICU patients’ sleep conditions were connected to the patients’ ages, income, whether mechanical ventilation were applied and APACHE Ⅱs core.3.Anxiety, depression were positively correlated with APACHEⅡof ICU patients sleepcondition was negative correlated with APACHEⅡof ICU patients.4.ICU patients’ anxiety, depression and sleep conditions were factors of APACHEⅡ.Based on APACHEⅡ, the patients’ anxiety, depression and sleep condition canbe predicted.
