Purpose: The method of drinking the decoction of traditional Chinese medicine is usedto observe the improvements of Menstrual Cycle Disruption(preceded menstrual cycle due toQi deficiency) and other symptoms to judge the efficacy of XiHongDecoction.Method:30patients with the preceded menstrual cycle problems, which are determinedby the reason of the Qi deficiency according to Chinese medicine, are selected. TheXiHongJian are taken by the patients for three menstrual cycles. During the treatment, all thesymptoms and physical signs of patients are recorded and marks will be given before and aftertreatment for each patient in order to compare the clinical curative effect.Result:30patients are treated altogether, and7of them completely recovered. Thecomplete cure rate is23.33%; and the effectual rate is36.67%with11patients recoveredobviously; and11of them are cured with certain effect, and the effective rate is36.67%;1ofthem was ineffective occupying3.33%of all. The total effective rate is96.67%and effect ofthe treatment is remarkable. Each symptoms are compared before and after the treatment witha statistical significance (p<0.05). The cycle of the menstrual and the analysis of thecorrelation of curative effect also have a statistical significance (p<0.05), but the age and theanalysis of the correlation of curative effect don’t.Conclusion: XiHongjian is good for Qi and have the ability to control blood well toregulate menstrual cycle and improve concomitant symptoms.Because of the stable andreliable curative effect and the little side effects,we can draw a conclusion that XiHongjian isone of the effective prescriptions to treat Preceded menstrual cycle.
