Acupoint Injection Of Mouse Nerve Growth Factor For Treatment Of Ischemic Optic Neuropathy A Clinical Study

Objective: Through this study, external therapy with Ophthalmology of TCM,that isacupoint injection, can be understood deeply. In order to find treatment technology andmethod of ischemic optic neuropathy, We explore mouse nerve growth factor for the diseasemechanism and efficacy.Methods: Those hospitalized patients with43impaired eyes of ischemic opticneuropathy,coming from the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of TraditionalChinese Medicine, are collected. We randomly divided into20cases with22impaired eyes inNGF group,18cases with21impaired eyes in CA group. In group NGF, rat nerve growthfactor is adopted for18ug1times a day for intramuscular injection, while1ug tertian1retrobulbar injection. In group CA, compound anisodine is adopted2ml1times a day forretrobulbar injection. At the same time, both groups choose vasodilator and improvingeye-cycle medicine for vein drip, take dialectical medicine orally, apply iontophoresis andvapor contact with kai qiao tong luo Chinese medicine, and acupuncture therapy. Thistreatment will last28days. The vision, vision field, eye ground and other objective sign willbe compared and evaluate between the two group.Results: in NGF group,10eyes (45.45%) are basic curing,8eyes for excellent,2eyesfor utility,2eyes for invalid, the total efficiency is90.91%, while in CA group,4eyes (19.05%)are basic curing,7eyes for excellent,6eyes for utility,4eyes for invalid, the total efficiency is80.95%. The basic cure rate in groups comparison have obviously difference (P <0.05) andthe total efficiency have significant difference (P <0.05). So the treatment of acupointinjection with mouse nerve growth factor is better for recovering visual function.Conclusion: the two groups treatments can both improve visual function, includingvision, vision field and eye ground. But the acupoint injection with mouse nerve growth factorhas more remarkable effect on ischemic optic neuropathy, which would improve the visualfunction, raise the cure rate, decrease the rate of blindness. While the operation technology iseasy to grasp, and is useful for clinical application, and will have a fine development.
