Purpose: In order to prove the effectiveness of balance acupuncture combined with kneeocular point warm needling in the treatment of gonarthritis, efficacy observation is used inthis paper.Method: The research object is the gonarthritis patients in acupuncture-moxibustionoutpatient and treatment area in affiliated hospital of Changchun University of ChineseMedicine. There are total eighty cases, in which treatment group and control group are fortycases respectively. The method of balance acupuncture combined with knee ocular pointwarm needling is used in treatment group, in which a treatment is set as10days and thenumber of continuous observation treatment should be four. When the patients feel pain, oralcelecoxib is used once a day for four weeks in control group. After the end of treatment usingWOMAC index and VAS scale for assessment of curative effect.Result: Total effective rate in the treatment group and the control group is85%and65%respectively. The total effective rate of treatment group is better than the control group (Pīš¤0.05), which shows that treatment group has better effect in improving symptoms andrelieving pain.Conclusion: In the treatment of gonarthritis, balance acupuncture combined with kneeocular point warm needling has apparent effect on improving symptoms and relieving pain. Ithas long-lasting.
