The Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Endometriosis With Modified Sini Decoction

Objective:Based on the clinical research, this study is to observe the impact of modified Sini decoction on the symptoms including dysmenorrheal, ectopic focus, barrenness and blood serum CA125of patients with endometriosis caused by blood stasis due to cold, and it also discusses the effectiveness of msodified Sini decoction for endometriosis, so as to seek for new Chinese medical therapy for endometriosis.Method:In accordance with the standard of diagnosis,50patients with endometriosis caused by blood stasis due to cold are randomly divided into two groups, and there are30patients in the treatment group, who are treated with modified Sini decoction;20patients are in the control group, treated with Danazol. Each group treated for three menstrual cycles.For the two groups, the improvements of physical sign、clinical symptoms and blood serum CA125before and after treatment are observed.Result:The total effective rates for dysmenorrheal are88.89%and83.33%, respectively in treatment group and control group. In both of groups, the level of dysmenorrheal and blood serum CA125has been significantly deceased, there is no significant difference between the two groups. In treatment group, it is shows a favorable curative effect in regulating menstruation, removing ovarian cyst, alleviating dyspareunia, treating bearing-down and barrenness, better than the control group.Conclusion:Endometriosis is among dysmenorrheal, abdominal mass, menstrual disorder, infertility and what’s like as far as Chinese medicine is concerned. Blood stasis is one of the main pathological mechanisms to cause endometriosis. The classical prescription-sini decoction is used to treat this symptom, which can effectively alleviate painful menstruation, diminish ectopic focus of infection, reduce the level of serum CA125and thus improve the curative ratio of barrenness. What’s more, such disadvantages are avoided as big side effects and low pregnancy rate as a result of Western therapies like pseudo-pregnancy and pseudo-menopause. The proposed decoction is effective therapeutic medicine to treat endometriosis.
