Objective:Reflux esophagitis (RE) is a common disease of the digestive system, frequently-occurring disease and refractory disease. The purper of this subject is to observe the clinnical effect of Weilikang Keli combined with pantoprazole on RE and its effects on the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) pressure. It is intend to provide new drugs of clinical treatment for the disease. Methods:According to both traditional Chinese medieine and Western medicine diagnostic criteria,84RE patients which were stagnant heat of liver and stomach syndrome were randomly divided into two groups according by the randomization number table.Experimental group (n=44) were treated with Weilikang Keli and pantoprazole, taking Weilikang KelilOg three times daily,an hour after a meal, taking pantoprazole40mg once a day, half an hour before breakfast,Control group patients were treated with pantoprazole and domperidone.taking pantoprazole40mg once a day, half an hour before breakfast;taking domperidone10mg three times daily, half an hour before a meal. All patients were treated for eight weeks. Before the treatment,after4weeks treatment and after the treatment, the patients were tested in symptom scores;before and after the treatment the patients were tested by gastroscopy and esophageal manometry. In addition, the security cheeks on Patients were made thought the treatment to learn the drug adverse reactions.Results:1Comparison of symptom scores After4weeks treatment, the difference between the two groups was not significant (P>0.05) in the total symptom score,it was significant (P<0.05) after8weeks treatment.2Comparison of symptom efficacy The experimental group in improving the clinical symptoms obviously superior to the control group. Experimental group total effective rate was95.2%. The control group total effective rate was84.2%. After statistics processing, the experimental group and the control group were significantly different(P<0.05). 3Comparison of endoscopic efficacy The experimental group total effective rate was95.2%,control group total effective rate was81.6%. After statistics processing, two groups in gastroscopy results was significant different(P<0.05).4Comparison of esophageal manometry The experimental group LESP was significant difference (P<0.05) after the treatment, but the difference was not significant (P>0.05)in the control group.5. Recurrence rate8weeks after the end of the treatment, comparied with recurrence rate between the experimental group and the control group,5cases of experimental group relapsed, recurrence rate was11.9%;10cases of the control group relapsed, recurrence rate was26.3%.Two group of recurrence rate was test by chi-square,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusions:1. Combined therapy of Weilikang Keli and pantoprazole could effectively relieve reflux esophagitis symptoms.2. Combined therapy of Weilikang Keli and pantoprazole could effectively repair esophageal mucosal inflammation.3. Combined therapy of Weilikang Keli and pantoprazole could be effective in improving patients LESP,but the clinical efficacy remains to be further studied.4. In the medication process, on the liver and kidney function and urinalysis no significant effect,it was a safe and had low recurrence rate, so it is worthy of further study and promotion applications.
