| Objective to investigate the double thread hollow screw (Herbert nail) in the treatment of femoral neck fracture indications.Methods from2009January to2011December in our hospital,135cases of femoral neck fracture, which used in the treatment of80cases. There were35male,45female cases, patients ages4years to73years, using a single thread hollow screw in treatment of femoral neck fracture40cases, the use of double thread hollow screw in treatment of femoral neck fracture of40cases. According to the Garden classification: type27, type19, type26, type8cases. Using random sampling method, using Zimmer provided by Herbert nail, the use of4.3mm Herbert internal fixation in3cases, the use of6.3mm Herbert nail internal fixation in37cases, the use of7.3mm (Baer company) single thread hollow screw fixation in40cases. Under the general anesthesia with decubitus, C-type wall under fluoroscopy with percutaneous internal fixation.Results all cases were followed up for12to21months (mean17.6months),-a complete follow-up in72cases, postoperative death within6months in4cases,4cases of lost contact, after more than a year in my college and fixation:take a single thread hollow screw in23cases, Herbert nail is10an example. Postoperative radiographic follow-up results show, single thread hollow screw fixation, nonunion in6cases (15%), femoral head necrosis were found in4patients (10%), femoral neck shortening in10cases (25%), shortening the length of1.5-2.0cm,1.8cm on average, patients had ipsilateral acetabular impingement syndrome. Fracture healing time was6-lOmonths, mean9months. Fracture healing was34cases (85%). Herbert screw fixation:2cases of femoral neck shortening, shortening the length of1.0cm-2.0cm,1.5cm on average. Among the1cases of acetabular impingement syndrome,1cases of nonunion and avascular bad dead.Conclusion double thread hollow screw in treatment of femoral neck fracture in use has good indications, and the reliability and good clinical outcome is worth the clinical promoted. |
