Objective :To perform multivariate analysis of short-term effects as the dependent variable of PFNA fixation for femoral intertrochanteric fracture and provide guidance for clinical practice. Methods: One hundred and eight cases of clinical data receiving surgery from January 2014 to May 2015 were retrospectively analyzed, were grouped according to the Harris hip score result of final follow-up,the score?80 points were included in the excellent efficacy group, the score <80 points were included in the non-performing efficacy group ? SPSS21.0 for windows was used to analyze all of data.Gender, age, classification of fracture, ASA classification, operative time, timing of surgery, osteoporisis, tip apex distance, helical blade positions, quality of fracture reduction, of two groups were compared, multivariable Logistic Analysis of risk factors affecting the efficacy.Results:ninety-six patients were followed up for 6 months, according to the Harris hip score, the excellent efficacy group have seventy five patients, the non-performing efficacy group have twenty-one patients.By univariate analysis, age, classification of fracture,,osteoporosis, timing of surgery,ASA classification, and quality of fracture reduction, were relevant factors of PFNA fixation for femoral intertrochanteric fracture( P <0.05), and there were no significant differences in gender, operative time, tip apex distance and helical blade positions,( P >0.05). By Logistic regression analysis, age, timing of surgery, osteoporosis and classification of fracture, were independent risk factor of PFNA fixation for femoral intertrochanteric fracture( P <0.05), and the differences were not statistically significant in ASA classification, quality of fracture reduction,( P >0.05).Conclusion:The elderly, not timely surgery, osteoporisis and classification of fracture are risk factors of efficacy of PFNA internal fixation for treatment of femoral intertrochanteric fractures. Preoperative all the patient should be assessment while the condition permit as early surgery as possible, Intraoperative pay attention to the fracture reduction, Postoperative should be anti-osteoporosis...
