Clinical Study Of Curative Effect On Facial Neuritis During Convalescence With Rarefaction Wave And Condensation-rarefaction Wave Of Electroacupuncture

Objective:This study is to evaluate the curative effect on convalescent facial neuritis with rarefaction wave and condensation-rarefaction wave.Methods60patients were randomly divided into two groups-with30cases in the rarefaction wave group,30cases in the condensation-rarefaction wave group. The The patient’s conditions were recorded according to House-Brackmann(H-B) facial nerve function appraisal hierarchy system and Traditional Chinese Medicine symptoms and signs quantitative table integral before treatment and after the1st,2nd,3rd and4th course of treatment. And then Use statistical methods to analyze the data.Results:The results showed that both wave forms of electroacupuncture have significant curative effect. After4weeks, the total effective rate was100%, the recovery rate was86.6%in the condensation-rarefaction wave group, and the total effective rate was100%, the recovery rate was80.0%in the rarefaction wave group, according to the House-Brackmann(H-B) facial nerve function appraisal hierarchy system, There were no significant statistical differences (P>0.05). The total effective rate was100%in the condensation-rarefaction wave group, and the total effective rate was100%in the rarefaction wave group, according to the Symptom integral standard. There were no significant statistical differences either (P>0.05). Using the analysis of variance to analyze TCM symptoms and signs quantitative table integral of the two groups of patients after the treatment, The condensation-rarefaction wave group was much better than control group in improving TCM symptoms and signs on quantitative table integral (P<0.05). The recovery times of patients in the treatment group were also less than control group (P<0.01).Conclusion:Both wave forms of electroacupunture made an equal effect in treating facial neuritis. But the wave of condensation and Rarefaction group had a batter work in reducing TCM symptoms and signs quantitative table integral and shorten the treatment course.
