Objective: Through the study of ancient and modern literature on constipation ofnavel therapy medication-related content and statistics, sum up the delivery regularity ofnavel therapy of constipation, furtherly improve and perfect the herb-choosing pertinencefor navel therapy of infantile diarrhea, and provide clinical reference.Methods: Taking National Knowledge Infrastructure as information retrieval source,the papers about constipation treated by navel therapy were retrieved. Taking ChineseMedical Classics as ancient literature source, constipation treated by navel therapy relatedliterature were retrieved. By statistics, summary and analysis, the delivery regularity ofnavel therapy of constipation was summarized.Results: After analyzing the relative literature of constipation using navel therapy, theresults show:①From the view of frequency, the top10herbs are Rhubarb, MangXiao,Fructus Aurantii, Houpo, Salt, onion, soap Angle, borneol, angelica, astragalus.②Common combination of herbsare Rhubarb—MangXiao, Rhubarb—Fructus AurantiiRhubarb—Houpo, hubarb—borneol, MangXiao—Fructus Aurantii, FructusAurantii—Houpo, soap Angle—borneol, Salt—onion、Fructus Aurantii—borneol、MangXiao—soap Angle.③The most common excipient is vinegar.④the most frequentlyused navel therapy were covering navel,filling navel,pasting navel etc.Conclusion: According to statistics, the delivery regularity of navel therapy ofconstipation are:①The most frequently used herbs for treating constipation are purgatingdrug, especially rhubarb and MangXiao. And the second are tonic herbs.②Herbs with thecharacter of cold are most frequently used.③Herbs with the taste of bitter, acrid and sweetare most frequently used.④Herbs entering spleen meridian and stomach meridian aremost frequently used, and the second are herbs entering lung meridian and liver meridian. ⑤The common excipient were: Vinegar, ethanol, honey and sesame oil. the mostfrequently used navel therapy were covering navel,filling navel,pasting navel etc.
