Clinical Study Of JiaWeiWuMeiTang In Treating Functional Diarrhea With The Cold-heat Jumble Syndrome

Objective: To assess the efficacy and mechanism of JiaWeiWuMeiTang in thetreatment of Fd with The cold-heat jumble syndrome.Methods:60patients were devided randomly into two groups.30patinets werereceived JiaWeiWeiMeiTang as the study group,and30patinets were receivedGuChangZhiXie capsules as the control group. After4weeks’ treatment,the changes ofclinic symptom were analyzed.Results: In the efficacy of TCM，the treatment group was better than control group(p<0.05). After one course of treatment,significant difference was apparent in the clinicaleffects:In the treatment group，15cases recovered and10cases significantly improved，(thus the effectual rate is83.33%),3cases improved. The total effective rate in thetreatment group is93.33%. In the control group，9cases recovered and8casessignificantly improved，(thus the effectual rate is56.67%),4cases improved.The totaleffective rate in the control group is70.00%.There was statistically significant differencein the total effective rate between the treatment group and control guoup(P<0.05).Theeffective rate from the treatment group is clearly superior. In the improvement of TCMsymptoms total score, the treatment group was better than control group (p<0.05).Conclusion: JiaWeiWuMeiTang was an effective prescription of Chinese medicinetreation Functional Diarrhea. The mechanism of this therapy may be relation to theadjustment of gastrointestinal motility and so on.
