With the development of society, there are more and more patient with kneearthritis。 The pain caused by it has increasingly influenced the patient’s daily life.It hasbecome a thorny and complex issue of the medical field. Total knee arthroplasty as thetreatment of post-arthritis has acquired more and more trust of the orthopedic surgeonsand the patient. Total knee replacement for orthopedic surgeons technical requirementsmore stringent, good operative skills as well as all aspects of perioperative preparation isthe key to success. The patient’s active cooperation and actively and postoperativefunctional exercises in the same effect on the operation of great influence。Total kneearthroplasty for patients with obvious effect, high efficiency, can be short-termpostoperative functional exercise under the ground, thereby reducing the patient lying inbed after operation time. In total knee replacement (TKA) we usually meet how to dealwith patellar, the processing of patella surgery is in relation to the operation effect.Objective: Observe the patellar outline shaping and denervation in total kneearthroplasty. Postoperative patients function recovery Analysis of the clinical curativeeffect of patella treatment effect.Methods:From June2010to June2011, the Affiliated Hospital of ShandongUniversity of Traditional Chinese Medicine Bone and Joint Division use Link Gemini ofMK II in total knee replacement.41cases (48knees) were male and6cases and35females;aged41-72years, mean57years old.32cases of knee osteoarthritis,6cases ofrheumatoid arthritis, two cases of traumatic arthritis,one knee renovated.Joint deformityof knee varus deformity, flexion contracture.Seven cases of two knees replacement,34cases of single knee replacement. Selected knee replacement patients are without patellar replacement,osteophyte clearance, flat patellar surface, patellar denervation around thehandle. Successful follow-up, follow-up time in January to two years. Before and aftersurgery for patients on a regular basis to investigate knee function tests and X-raymeasurement, the knee score using the American Society of KneeSurgery HSS score。Result:41cases (48knees) were different periods of follow-up time of24months.Knee score from preoperative29.0(18~38) to83.8(61~95). All cases were nopatellar fracture, loosening of the prosthesis and patellar subluxation,patellar clunk,anterior knee pain and other complications.Conclusion:Total knee arthroplasty is an effective method of treatment of the kneepost-disease,significant clinical effect. Patellar osteophytes in knee replacement surgery toclear, flat surface, around denervation can reduce patellar complications, reducing the costof treatment, increase patient satisfaction, and effective.
