| ObjectiveThrough the follow-up after total knee arthroplasty in patients with patellofemoral function,pain,patellofemoral parameters(lateral patellar angle,patellofemoral congruence angle,patellofemoral index,patellofemoral angle and patellar lateral shift ratio),analysis the basic medical data,the patellofemoral parameters and the clinical data of the patients.Then summarise the characteristics of patellofemoral function and patellofemoral parameters after TKA.Ananlysis the differences of patellofemoral parameters in different groups and the correlation between patellar joint function and patellar pain.In order to provide the early follow-up data for the patellofemoral joint after total knee replacement and provide the diagnosis and treatment for the patellofemoral dysfunction and patellar pain.MethodsThe clinical and X-ray datas of patients were followed up.By collecting,analyzing and comparing the datas,summarise the correlation of the patellar joint function,patellar pain and patellar joint parameters.ResultsA number of 135 subjects are included in the study,144 knee joints.There are 26 men,19.3%,109 women,80.7%,and the ratio of them is about 1:4.The average age of the subjects is 69.65 + 7.03,and the average body mass index is 26.60 + 3.64.The average angle of the lateral patella is about 13.03°±4.77°.The average angle of the patellofemoral angle is about 10.49°±3.55°.The average angle of the patella is about 8.70°±4.83°,the average patellofemoral index is about 1.82 ± 0.75.The average patellofemoral displacement is about 0.40±0.22 cm.The average score of KSS is about 62.58 + 4.46,the average of patellar function score is about 21.35 + 3.05,and the average value of VAS visual pain score is about 2.81 + 1.21.There were no significant differences in patellofemoral parameters and patellofemoral function scores among groups of TCM syndrome types.There is no significant difference of the lateral patellar angle in the knee function and knee pain group,while there is a statistically significant differences of the patellar tilt angle,the patellofemoral index and the patellofemoral displacement.There was significant differences of the incidence of patellar pain of functional groups.The postoperative satisfaction rate was 83.3%,there was a significant differences of satisfaction of the patellar pain groups.ConclusionTotal knee arthroplasty can effectively solve the osteoarthritis of the knee joint.Most of the patients had abnormal patellofemoral joint parameters.There are some correlations between patellofemoral dysfunction and patellar pain.The parameters of patellofemoral joint are significance in the diagnosis of patellofemoral dysfunction and patellar pain. |
