Logistic Regression Analysis On Risk Factors Of Tension-type Headache

Object:To explore the risk factors of tension-type headache, preliminarily find outpart of its risk factors.All is done in order to provide favourable reference datas for itsprevention and cure,and to reduce its incidence and improve patients’quality of life.Methods:100patients with tension-type headache compared with50healthypersons.The observation of the contents of this investigation as following: age,sex,education,overweight and obesity,family history, depression, anxiety,insomnia, smoking,drinking,physical-exercise,a season,A type behavior character and so on.In order to findout whether there are some relations to tension-type headache.A Logistic regression modelis used.SPSS16.0is applied for data analysis.Result:①The univaviate Chi-square test:cases and controls by chi-square testrevealed:there is a significant difference among anxiety,depression, spring, drinking,insomnia,A type behavior character,negative life events (P<0.05);whlie no significantdifference among gender,sports,special food,educational level (P>0.05). Although There isno significant statistical significance,they may also be the reasons for a few people.Theyare just excluded.The Chi-square test value of gene,age,overweight and obesity isP>0.05.No significant statistical significance is exsited,they are not the risk factors oftension-type headache②the various risk factors Logistic regression analysis show:A typebehavior character, negative life events, anxiety,depression,spring,enter the Logisticregression equation finally which show that the four are the risk factors of tension-typeheadache,because they end up in the Logistic regression equation(P<0.05, OR>1).Themost risk factor’s influence on the diease’s occur is A type behavior character(OR=4.712,the smaller is spring(OR=3.297),the second to it is negative life events(OR=2.927),and the smallest is anxiety,depression,(OR=2.627).The less of exercise, sex,gene,insomnia,education,drinking,special food,overweight and obesity are not the risk factors of tension-type headache.Conclusion: A type behavior character,spring, anxiety,depression, negative life eventsare the risk factors of tension-type headache. The less of exercise, sex,gene, insomnia,education,drinking,special food,overweight and obesity are not the risk factors oftension-type headache.
