Objective: To observe the clinical effect of anti-rotation of proximal femoral nail(PFNA) and the dynamic hip screw (DHS) in elderly intertrochanteric fracture, the clinicalefficacy of the two kinds of internal fixation methods were compared, summed up therespective characteristics of the two kinds of internal fixation methods provide the basis forthe clinical treatment of senile femoral intertrochanteric fracture surgery. Methods: Orthopaedics, Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of TraditionalChinese Medicine to meet the inclusion criteria for patients with intertrochanteric fracturecases hospitalized since April2010to December2011. The PFNA treatment of22cases,DHS treatment of18patients, standard treatment of fracture healing. Observe the treatmentprocess and efficacy of the two groups of patients, and for statistical analysis, to makeanalysis and evaluation of the efficacy of two methods. Results: the PFNA and DHS compared the operative time, incision length, blood loss, fracture healing time, and other aspects of P <0.05was statistically significant, in terms ofhospital stay, P>0.05not statistically significant. Sander,’s score DHS group in hip traumaexcellent rate of83%, PFNA group rate of91%.Conclusion: PFNA and DHS in the treatment of elderly intertrochanteric fractureshave good results; PFNA group and DHS group compared with the minimally invasive hipfunctional recovery of the degree has advantages; PFNA indications are widely elderlypatients with intertrochanteric intercondylar fracture of the ideal internal fixation.
