Objective: Using Varclus cluster analysis and Logistic regression analysisanalyzes the law of Prescriptions for Chest stuffiness that are input toPrescription analysis system by SAS statistical software and Data miningtechnology. Summary the law of curing Chest stuffiness of ancient andmodern doctors use, and provide guidance for the treatment of Cheststuffiness in the future. Methods: Input the Prescriptions for Cheststuffiness to Prescription analysis system that was invented ourselves, standardizing the syndromes, symptoms and the name of traditional Chinesemedicine. Studying the frequency of syndrome differentiation, frequency ofTCM, frequency of TCM-TCM, frequency of TCM groups and the correlation degreebetween different syndromes and single TCM, TCM-TCM and TCM groups usingVarclus cluster analysis and Logistic regression analysis by Prescriptionanalysis system and SAS statistical software. Results: Among the245prescriptions for Chest stuffiness,(1)frequency of different syndromesanalysis: there are7kinds of syndromes, descending order of frequencyis:①64prescriptions of blood stasis in the heart vessels syndromes;②47prescriptions of phlegm syndromes;③39prescriptions of cold condensateheart pulse syndromes;④34prescriptions of stagnation of Qi syndromes;⑤25prescriptions of Qi-Yin deficiency syndromes;⑥14prescriptions ofheart kidney Yang deficiency syndromes;⑦6prescriptions of heart kidney Yin deficiency syndromes.⑵frequency of TCM analysis: there are206kindsof TCM, the highest frequency of TCM is35.10%, the lowest frequency of TCMis0.41%.⑶Clustering analysis of TCM: There are13kinds of TCM groupsdistinguished by Varclus analyzing the38kinds of TCM the frequencies ofwhich are≥20.⑷syndrome differerntiation analysis: the TCM that ancientand modern doctors often use:①cold condensate heart pulse syndromes: driedginger, aconite, radix glycyrrhizae preparata, Chinese angelica, gui xinetc;②Qi-Yin deficiency syndromes: radix salviae miltiorrhizae, radixophiopogonis, schizandra, codonopsis pilosula etc;③stagnation of Qisyndromes: pericarpium citri reticulatae, adix glycyrrhizae preparata, radix vladimiriae etc;④phlegm syndromes: pinellia, adix glycyrrhizaepreparata, poria, pericarpium etc;⑤heart kidney Yang deficiency syndromes:grilled astragalus, herba epimedil, cinnamon etc;⑥heart kidney Yindeficiency syndromes: white paeony root, gardenia, cortex moutan etc;⑦bloodstasis in the heart vessels syndrome: radix salviae miltiorrhizae, szechuanlovage rhizome, Chinese angelica, red paeony root, safflower etc. Conclusion: The results of studying the frequency of syndromedifferentiation, frequency of TCM, clustering of TCM and the law of TCM usingin different syndromes by Prescription analysis system, SAS statisticalsoftware and Data mining technology are similar to the medicine using inclinical TCM. And it can also provide more professional treatment forpatients with different syndromes of Chest stuffiness. Meanwhile, it alsoprovides a reference for the invention of new drugs.
