Investigation Study On The Status And Improving Measures Of Doctor-patient Relationship In Qiqihar City

ObjectiveTo understand the doctor-patient relationship status of grade A class3hospital in Qiqihar,explore the factors of relationship nervous, bring forward the countermeasures and suggestions of constructing harmonious doctor-patient relationship.The study results can make clear of doctor-patient’s Ethics and morality. Provide reference on the grade A class3hospital reform and National policy.MethodsThrough investigating296Medical staff、197Patients(Family members) and176Social groups of5grade A class3hospitals in Qiqihar. The survey data using SPSS13.0software for statistical analysis and chi-square test.Results1.Status and influencing factors of the doctor-patient relationship(1)67.3%medical staff、50.3%patients and32.3%Social groups consider that doctor-patient relationship is well; The evaluation among different groups have Significant difference (x2=85.322,p<0.001).medical staff consider the doctor-patient relationship is better than patient and Social groups.(2)The current tension between the patients and doctors among different groups have difference (x2=56.769,p<0.001).Most of the medical staffs consider that the cause of the current tension between the patients and doctors is attributed to patients, while majority of the patients and social groups consider it’s attributed to medical staffs.2.Problems in medical ethics and improvement(1)The medical ethics among different groups have Significant difference (x2=117.369,p<0.001).Medical staffs consider that question in medical ethics is other problems, the patients and social groups consider that is "abuse much more assay"(2)Three groups all consider that the primary way to improve doctor-patient relationship is strengthening accountability of doctors.3.Satisfaction of the communication between doctor-patient(1)There is difference in the satisfaction rate among different groups (x2=116.926,p<0.001).50.8%groups consider the satisfaction of communication is general,32.0%groups consider it’s harmonious.(2)Different groups hold different views on the cognition of reasons on the difficulty of communication between doctors and patients (x2=56.347,p<0.001).36.1%medical staff and40.3%social groups think the main reason comes to the different levels of education;32.5%patients think that belongs to different status of doctors and patients.4.The effects of media report in the doctor-patient relationshipThe effects of media report among different groups is different(x2=117.439,p<0.001). Medical staff think that media report is not objective, it’s not conducive to doctor-patient relationship. Patients think that media report is objective, it’s can increase transparency in the medical process.Conclusions1.In general the doctor-patient relationship is harmonious,but there is disharmonious factors.2.The question in medical ethics is "abuse much more assay".The primary way to improve doctor-patient relationship is strengthening accountability of doctors.3.The cause of the current tension between the patients and doctors is the defect of medicine and security management system.4.Most groups consider the satisfaction of communication is general.5.Medical staff consider that media report is not objective, it’s not conducive to doctor-patient relationship. Patients think that media report is objective, it’s can increase transparency in the medical process.6.The ideal pattern of doctor-patient relationship is understanding、mutual trust and mutual help.7.Increasing government investment and perfect the system of medical insurance、the regulation on hospital、Strengthen the medical knowledge of popular science propaganda are considered the primary way to improve doctor-patient relationship.
