Objective:To explore the regularity of TCM syndrome of Helicobacter pylori(HP) associated peptic ulcer,and to provide theoretical guidance for Disease-based TCM.Method:117suitable cases were selected at the out-patient department in the first affiliated hospital of Heilongjiang University Of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March in2011to March in2012.According to the general information and syndromes of the four diagnostic material of patient, established database.The regularity of TCM syndrome HP associated peptic ulcer was investigated by using the method of cluster analysis,frequency distribution and x2test.Result:①Middle-aged group accounted for the largest proportion of this disease(47.0%),followed by the youth group,and the older group was the least;(2) duodenal ulcer was the most(70.1%),followed by gastric ulcer,and compound ulcer was the least;③Active period was the most(76.1%),followed by the healing period,scar stagewasthe least;④The distribution of TCM was: syndrome of damp-heat of spleen and stomach(29.9%)>syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi(25.7%)>syndrome of defieiency in the spleen and stomach(20.5%)> syndrome of yin defieiency of stomach (12.8%)> syndrome of stagnated blood of stomach meridian(11.1%);⑤Gender had significant difference(P<0.05) in both of the syndrome of damp-heat of spleen and stomach and syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi;⑥The various syndromes of different ages showed a very significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion:①Middle-aged, duodenal ulcer and active period were more common in HP associated peptic ulcer;②There were five syndromes of TCM:syndrome of damp-heat of spleen and stomach,syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi, syndrome of defieiency in the spleen and stomach,syndrome of yin defieiency of stomach,syndrome of stagnated blood of stomach meridian;③Middle-aged men were more common in the syndrome of damp-heat of spleen and stomach, Middle-aged women were more common in the syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi,syndrome of defieiency in the spleen and stomach was more common in youth,syndrome of yin deficiency of stomach and syndrome of stagnated blood of stomach meridian were more common in older.
