ObjectiveIt is a study about retrospective analysis of cryptogenic organizing pneumonia (cryptogen ic organ izing pneumonia, COP),we observe the symptoms, radiologic and pathologic features of the COP. We summarize the characteristics of cryptogenic organizing pneumoni by a retrospective study. Deepening understanding of cryptogenic organizing pneumonia, and improve the level of diagnosis and differential diagnosisMethodsSummary of the three cryptogenic organizing pneumonia cases bypathological diagnosis in the Shandong Provincial Hospital. And retrospectively analyze14complete medical history cases with pathologically diagnosed which are coveraged in the domestic literature from2004to2011to explore the clinical, pathological, radiological features of cryptogenic organizing pneumonia.ResultsThe COP patients usually have no specific signs or symptoms, and mostly the onset of the process is chronic or subacute with respiratory symptoms commonly which is misdiagnosed as community-acquired pneumonia. It is common that alveolar opacities, nodules, ground glass, grid-like change, cable video, honeycomb lung in the radiologocal changes. And17cases were confirmed by antibiotic therapy. We confirm the diagnosis by lung biopsy. It is effective using glucocorticoid, and easy to recur in the reduction process.ConclusionsThe initial diagnosis of COP is suggested by symptoms, signs, laboratory tests and radiologocal changes, and the confirmed diagnosis can only be obtained by pathologicaldiagnosis. Glucocorticoid treatment is effective, and it’s easy to recur in the reduction process.
