The results were analyzed statistically by descriptive analysis, independent samples t test, one-way analysis of variance and multiple linear stepwise regression.Results(1)The mean score of knowledge of cancer-related fatigue was56.53±11.25, accounting for56.5percent of the full score. The mean attitude score was32.91±3.68, accounting for82.2percent of the full score. The mean practice score was19.56±2.80, accounting for54.3percent of the full score.(2)There were statistical significance of knowledge scores of cancer-related fatigue among nurses of different age, length of nursing age, length of nursing age in oncology department, professional ranks, position, education and establishment (P±0.01). There was statistical significance of attitude scores of cancer-related fatigue among nurses of different establishment (P±0.05). There were statistical significance of practice scores of cancer-related fatigue among nurses of different age, length of nursing age, length of nursing age in oncology department, professional ranks, position, education and establishment (P<0.01).(3)The factors that influence the knowledge scores of cancer-related fatigue were the age, profession ranks and education. The factors that influence the practice scores of cancer-related fatigue were length of nursing age in oncology department, the knowledge scores and the attitude scores.(4) The ways of oncology department nurses to get cancer-related fatigue knowledge were work experience, academic journals, network and continuing education, but some nurses had never get it.ConclusionThe results of the study had identified that the oncology department nurses had positive cancer-related fatigue attitude, and their cancer-related fatigue knowledge and practice should be further improved and enhanced. In order to improve the present situation of insufficient knowledge of cancer-related fatigue in oncology department nurses and further improve the quality of nursing for tumor patients, we should take some measures to realize it, such as improving the level of nursing management, optimizing the allocation of nurses resources, strengthening the continuing education of cancer-related fatigue knowledge and professional training on oncology department nurses and so on.
