The Evaluation Of The Medical Readiness Of The Emergency Mobile Medical Detachment In Military Hospital

The Emergency Mobile Medical Detachment is a component of the MilitaryHospital, and plays an important role in the strategy and campaign health servicessupport. In peace time, the construction of medical readiness is the key of enhancing theability of emergency mobile medical detachment in military hospital. It is important toevaluate the quality of the medical readiness.Objective: To study the evaluation index system of the medical readiness of theemergency mobile medical detachment in military hospital and to provide theoretical supportto boost the ability of the emergency mobile medical detachment.Methods: Relative definition and the principle of index selection were given by theLiterature review. The composition of the evaluation index system was built based on thefiled interview and expert consultation. Weight of each index was confirmed based on theAnalytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The medical readiness of a General Military Hospitalwas evaluated by this system.Results: Medical readiness is the key to boosting the ability of the emergencymobile medical detachment in military hospital. This paper constructed a evaluationindex system which includes4first class indexes and13second class indexes. Theweight of each index was given in the research. Through the practical application, wefound that the index system is objective and scientific, and is capable to reflect the basicsituation of the evaluation objects.Conclusion: This study built a index system to evaluate the medical readiness of theemergency mobile medical detachment in military hospital. The evaluation index systemis proved to be operable, useful and reasonable. The result of this study provides thetheoretical support and reference for the evaluation of the medical readiness of themilitary hospital.
